Meet the Photographer
Hi, I'm Emma, the face behind the lens.
I am a mum to two beautiful children, my daughter Elizabeth and my son Kingsley, my favourite flowers are King Protea's and Orchids, and I love spending my spare time with my family at the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, camping, hiking and just generally having fun.
I worked in childcare for 9 years, but decided that I needed a change of pace. So I changed careers and started my own little photography business Zuvela Creative Photography. Now I am a professional Photographer specialising in Family, Maternity, Newborn and Portrait photography. Essentially I am there to capture all of your most precious memories at every stage of your life, and I want to capture some beautiful, in the moment, love and laughter filled moments for you too.
I have always had a passion for photography and capturing those special moments in life and I love that I am now able to do that for others. I enjoy getting to know my clients and watching the families that I photograph grow and change over time. I feel so lucky that I am able to be there for some of the most special times in peoples lives.
Newborn sessions are done in home, which means I come to you! I find this means that bub, mum and dad are more relaxed and comfortable making for some beautiful memories. For Family and Maternity photography I have beautiful outdoor locations of fields, forests and beach backdrops for you to choose from; some of which you may have already seen on my Facebook and Instagram pages. If you are interested in a portrait or branding session there is the choice of using one of my beautiful outdoor locations, or we can work together in your home or place of business depending on your needs.
My intention for any of my photography sessions is to collect memories, capture connections, tell a story, and show people and families as their true self. My sessions are full of fun and laughter, and I love to have a good chat and really get to know you and your family. I endeavor to make you feel like I am an old friend that you are catching up with for the first time in a long time. Through simply focusing on what matters and being in the moment with you and your family your images will remain timeless and become a true keepsake for you to look back on and reminisce.
